Connecting the power adapter to an EMPOWER power

system

To use the power adapter with a 4-pin power receptacle in an EMPOWER

in-flight power system, use the following steps.

Step 1

Insert the smaller, yellow-tipped connector into the power connector of your

ThinkPad computer.

Step 2

Pull the electricity-source connector apart, as shown in the following

illustration, and remove the cigarette-lighter adapter. The 4-pin connector is

revealed.
